Day 1: Arrive in Charleston

Welcome to Charleston! Upon arrival, pick up your rental car and head over to your hotel.  For first time visitors, taking a walking tour is a must - it’s the best way to see, appreciate and experience the history and essence of Charleston. After the tour, spend the rest of the day exploring on your own. Perhaps take a leisurely stroll past some of Charleston's collection of beautifully restored homes including: Heywood Washington House, Joseph Manigault House and the Nathaniel Russell House to name a few.

Day 2: Charleston

Start your morning with a visit to the famed Magnolia Plantation and its gardens. Located on the Ashley River, it is one of the oldest plantations in the South, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Culinary delights are abundant, so find a restaurant with outdoor dining and enjoy authentic locally sourced Southern food. Overwhelmed by all the amazing options? Add on a walking foodie tour to get the best local suggestions and samples of foods including stone-ground grits, prawns, and South Carolina barbecue.

Day 3: Charleston to Savannah

Today make your way to the Hostess City of the South, Savannah. Perhaps you'll take the scenic route with a stop at Hilton Head's Coligny Beach along the way. Once you've arrived in Savannah check in to your hotel and enjoy the remainder of your day.  A Carriage ride would be nice!

Day 4: Savannah

Consider a hop on hop off trolley tour to learn about Savannah's people, culture, and rich history. Or, if you prefer, join a bike tour through the historic Southern city. Later, take a stroll through the City Market district. Filled with shops, art galleries, and the occasional local musician, its the perfect spot to catch a bite in between all the fun. If you like spooky, consider taking one of Savannah's evening ghost tours.

Day 5: Farewell

Today, your journey ends in Savannah but the memories full of history and beautiful surroundings are sure to stay with you for a lifetime.
