Day 1: Arrive in Albuquerque

Welcome to Albuquerque! Upon arrival, pick up your rental car and make your way to your hotel. The rest of the day is unscripted for you to relax and explore Albuquerque. 

Day 2: Albuquerque

Today, explore New Mexico’s largest city that sits in the high desert. The modern downtown contrasts with Old Town Albuquerque with its historic Adobe buildings, enticing collection of shops selling Native American handicrafts, galleries and artist studios. Nearby, The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center traces the area's tribal history. Perhaps today you'll partake in a guided bicycle tour of the surrounding landscapes.

Day 3: Albuquerque to Santa Fe

Your adventure in Albuquerque would not be complete without a hot air balloon experience. Consider taking to the skies for a sunrise balloon ride before heading to Santa Fe via the scenic Turquoise Trail whenever you please. After checking in to visit the Palace of the Governors, check out the adjacent New Mexico History Museum and the Indian Art & Culture Museum.

Day 4: Santa Fe

Santa Fe, nestled amidst the Sangre de Cristo mountains is well known for its art scene. The combination of mountains and Adobe architecture makes for very charming scenery. This great small city, founded by the Spanish over 400 years ago, has lots to offer. Perhaps venture out on a day trip to Taos by heading north on the High Road, taking in the scenic vistas through high-dessert badlands. Want to add a little adventure to your trip? Perhaps white water rafting on the Rio Grande will be your choice today.

Day 5: Farewell

Your journey ends in Santa Fe today as you leave with wonderful memories of the rich history, the breathtaking scenery and artistic culture of the Southwest.

Bask in the famous healing waters of Ojo Caliente, one of North America's oldest health resorts. Pueblo Indian tradition holds that its pools provided access to the underworld. Sulphur-free, geothermal mineral waters have flowed from a subterranean volcanic aquifer for thousands of years. Ojo Caliente is the only hot springs in the world with four different types of mineral water including lithia, iron, soda, and arsenic. The twelve pools are filled with different types and combinations of these waters, with temperatures ranging from 80 - 106 degrees.
