Austin Food Adventure and Distilleries

With Jen Davis

Departing: October 24, 2024

Is it even a trip to the south without getting your hands dirty and digging into some traditional barbeque? Pack the wet wipes, because for the next four days, you’ll be enjoying all the comforts of the south. Boasting thousands of daily visitors, The Salt Lick is a famed Texas stop known for its brisket and savory sides. But the fun doesn’t stop there. You’ll continue your barbeque education with stops at Terry Black’s Barbeque, Zilker Brewing, and Rollin’ Smoke BBQ. But what’s barbeque without something to wash it down? Wet your whistle at places like Jester King Brewery, where you can vibe out to the live music or meet their 75 Nigerian Dwarf goats, or the Garrison Brothers Distillery, where you can learn how bourbon is made and sample some of their spirits.
