Welcome to your Byron Bay getaway. From 3 pm today you can check in to your accommodation and settle in, There will be a welcome meeting at 4 pm where your lntrepid Host gives an overview of the upcoming itinerary and offers some insights into the surrounding area. After the meeting, there will be an optional yoga session to relax and unwind after your journey here. Tonight, at a not-for-profit restaurant you’ll enjoy a dinner that’s not only delicious but also supports a project to rehabilitate and reforest degraded areas of the Byron Shire.

Day 2: Byron Bay Hinterland

This morning, wake up with a sun salutation if you join an included yoga and meditation session before breakfast. Whether you're an absolute beginner or seasoned practitioner, worry not, the yoga and meditation sessions are suitable for all levels. Afterwards head to Brunswick River for a nature kayak tour. The Brunswick River is one of the most beautiful river systems in New South Wales and you will kayak along peaceful waters where the only interruption will be from local sea birds and wildlife calling out as you cruise by. Your guide for the kayaking adventure will be a local Arakwal guide and you'll learn much from their local knowledge – the Arakwal Bumberlin people have lived in the coastal landscape around the Byron Bay area for at least 22,000 years so it will be a privilege to learn about the area from a local First Nations guide. For lunch head to a local farm for a Farm-to-Table experience – the region has long been a haven for environmentally minded individuals and you'll taste the delicious fruits of their labour today. Later head into Byron Bay where the rest of the afternoon and evening is free for you to explore the town. Walk along the beaches, head to the iconic Cape Byron lighthouse, and maybe choose from one of the many delicious dinner options on offer in town. Your transport will leave Byron town at approximately 9:30 pm the evening to return you to your accommodation.

Day 3: Byron Bay Hinterland

There are few better ways to ready the mind and body for the day than yoga, so maybe choose to join in again with this morning’s included session. Enjoy breakfast before heading out for a rainforest walk in one of the local National Parks, followed by lunch in the Hinterland (not included) where there are many opportunities to taste local produce. Later in the afternoon, make your way to a local and independent brewery for a tasting and meet the maker session. Like Intrepid, the brewery is a B-Corp – a company concerned for their communities and the environment.  Tonight you will have time to wander Byron Bay, find a lovely dinner spot and enjoy your last night of the tour.

Day 4: Byron Bay Hinterland

Say Namaste to Byron Bay with one final morning yoga session, before this Intrepid Retreat comes to an end after breakfast this morning.
