Day 1: Arrive in Anchorage

Welcome to America’s Last Frontier! Upon arrival, pick up your rental car and head to your hotel. Depending on when you arrive you may choose to start your adventure early, perhaps join an afternoon Fat Tire bike ride through Chugach State Park or wander through the many art galleries and shops that line the streets of Anchorage.

Day 2: Anchorage to Talkeetna

Today, take advantage of your first full day in Alaska by immersing yourself in the stunning landscape. Consider a wildlife and glacier experience for the first half of your day before beginning your two-hour drive to Talkeetna. Be sure to stop along the way to enjoy the scenic route and spot more wildlife! Once you’ve made it to Talkeetna, explore the quaint town then settle in for the night – you’ll be exploring a lot tomorrow!

Day 3: Talkeetna to Denali

This morning, you decide how to explore the vast wilderness of Denali National Park! Head into the park from Talkeetna whenever you’d like. Perhaps join a hiking tour or raft along the Nenana Gorge. If you’re looking for something more relaxing, consider a traditional horse-drawn wagon ride reminiscent of the gold rush era topped off with backcountry dining. Or, simply write your own script – the adventure is entirely up to you, and with the help of our Adventure Specialists you’ll be on your way to your next great adventure in no time.

Day 4: Denali

You’ll spend another day in beautiful Denali National Park today, so be sure to pack your camera! Tired from yesterday’s activities? Not to worry – feel free to rest and relax around your hotel. Or, for all you dog-lovers, consider visiting an off-grid homestead to learn more about how sled dogs impact day-to-day life in Alaska. Want to get back out into nature? There are plenty of hiking trails in the area for you to wander!

Day 5: Denali to Fairbanks

Venture even further into the Last Frontier as you head to Fairbanks! Who knew such a charming little town could have so much to offer? Flash back in time at the Fountainhead Auto Museum, home to over 85 antique cars – nearly all of which still work today! Or, journey a bit further north to Chena Hot Springs and soak in 106 degree water until you’re thoroughly relaxed. Looking for a truly unique experience? Visit a reindeer farm for an extra special fauna friend to guide you through the forest! The choice is yours!

Day 6: Fairbanks to Anchorage

Make your way back to Anchorage today for your final night in Alaska. The drive is a long one, so stock up on snacks and be sure to take plenty of scenic stops along the way! Once you’re back in Anchorage perhaps pick up some last minute souvenirs or simply rest for the flight home tomorrow!

Day 7: Farewell

Say goodbye to Alaska and hop on a flight back home with plenty of memories and pictures to last a lifetime!

Fairbanks: Incredible Aurora Adventure

The adventure starts in our warm, modern luxury VIP sprinter van to one or more locations that, depending on weather, will be best for viewing. * Learn from a local expert about Fairbanks and Alaska in a small group setting (no more than 14 guests) * Training on how to take photos of the Incredible Northern Lights with hands-on assistance * Enjoy looking up stargazing into the universe, glamour at the constellations, maybe catch a shooting star, and chase the Aurora Borealis * Per request, while waiting for Aurora we offer a campfire with delicious, homegrown, Alaskan reindeer hot dogs * On evenings when the Northern Lights are exceptionally active, we may stay out later for your enjoyment * Aurora Portraits are included if desired for FREE. Fairbanks: Chena Hot Springs Tour

Fairbanks: Table Top Mountain Hiking Adventure

Experience the Alaskan wilderness during an easy hike on the Table Top Mountain Trail in the White Mountains National Recreation Area. Take in panoramic views of Nome Creek Valley and Beaver Creek Valley, Mount Prindle and parts of the Alaska Range (on a clear day). If you're lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a moose, bear, hawk or owl. Your guide provides light refreshments during the hike, which is suitable for people with a moderate level of fitness.
